We’re in the endgame now.

In a Snap, half of all life in the Universe disappeared. Thanos has fled, The Avengers have failed, and for the next 5 Years, Earth is a depressing mess. But in the fragmented city of Los Angeles, a revolution is brewing. New heroes are rising up from the dust. Once quiet voices are now booming across the concrete landscape. Small-time crime fighters like Roulette, Bloodhound, and Scry are leading a new scene of super-heroes; the ones who never got their movie; who never got their TV Show; who never got their shot to shine.

In this improvised crime-fighting parody, we’ll put a lens on the celebrity worship of The Avengers, the growing divide between ideology, trust, and empathy, and ultimately explore what it means to be a hero in the darkest of times when nobody is watching. Can our scrappy indie band of heroes seize the moment and finally make their mark? Or will they fall prey to personal strife and struggle? The curtain is drawn. Its anyone’s game.

Characters

Masha Mirova

AKA Roulette
Masha has six completely different powers, but she can only use one at a time, and at random. She was orphaned at a very young age from Russian parents with no idea of their whereabouts, why they abandoned her, or where her powers came from. She floated around as a foster child until Lily’s parents adopted her. She’s generally nervous but optimistic.

Lily Kline

AKA Bloodhound
Lily had no powers pre-snap, but developed hyperesthesia post-Snap, starting with an overwhelming sense of smell. She wears a mask to ease the influx. Lily is the younger foster-sister of Masha. She has a punk-rock attitude, is still in high school, and generally hates being told what to do to a fault.

Eric Stanton

AKA Scry
Eric is a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, recruited at the age of 17, practically against his will. He can tap into one of the five senses of anyone he’s come in physical contact with. Like a radio signal, his ability gets weaker the farther away his target is. Eric fled to Boliva after the Hydra Incident and now works in Private Investigation.

Cast

Soundtrack

The original soundtrack to SURVIVORS OF THE SNAP.
Featuring the cast-sung “Sunstar”.

81 Tracks.
5+ hour runtime.
Free!

… A post-punk exploration on what it means to be unheard; A soundscape of faint and angry echos as lead characters Lily, Masha, and Eric search for themselves in a society gone hollow. Survived, but invisible. Hopeful, but dejected. A Scavenger hunt for meaning and community with your cup half empty.

Though much of the score has been intentionally preserved, each cue was revisited, cut down, and remixed to flow as one continuous 5 hour album. Various spots have been fleshed out much further than their original incarnation, with some segments practically becoming new songs entirely.

At the time of writing this, the world is slowly falling apart—or fixing itself, I can't tell which—so may this soundtrack be a supplement to your days in purgatory, whether that be to rebuild... or tear it all down.
